Ever suffered for your art...?

Not sure if this counts,but here goes....
Showing my new Katana to a mate and went close to the back door where the light was better and heard some shouting outside and leant the blade,unsheathed,against the wall,my Rottweiler charged out behind and must have brushed against the Kat' which flipped over a kitchen chair with the blade pointed at the back door.I came back through the door and walked straight into the kissaki,which narrowly missed the "old boy",sliced into my scrotum,slit my right testacle and pierced my rectal passage.
15 days in hospital,no idea how many stitches coz they came out before I was discharged,off work for 6 months and still tender,4 years later.
Yeah,I know...........what a dummy..........but s**t happens!!

He's as "dull as a brush",will lick you to death but like the proverbial "Bull in a Chinashop"..........needless to say he's put out the garden before any blades are exposed now...........I should and wish that I'd thought of that a long tome ago
