Simulated temper

Postby jutz21 » Fri May 09, 2014 9:59 pm

Hey I've bought the "Handforged Samurai sword" on page 7 of the "Handforged samurai swords" tab and it stated it has a simulated temper? Can anyone tell me how it was heat treated? Thanks

Ok now you've had a good laugh... It states it's a "functional" sword "Forged using traditional methods by hand from a billet of steel" yet has no certificate of authenticity or forge of origin?

I'm just trying to find out more about the origin an authenticity of my sword

I think the listing should read 'simulated temper line' which means it has a brushed or etched hamon and the blade is through hardened.
